Chris ‘Willow’ Wilson founded NAC in 2013
He made the decision to leave his role as Supervisor at the Ichthys INPEX project in Darwin and follow a dream to own his own civil construction company. With the purchase of a 140M Caterpillar Grader, NAC was founded.
Willow was a one-man operation for many years, driving his own machinery, chasing work, and working out of a small office from his family home. His knowledge about the industry came on the back of a degree in Engineering and nearly 20 years of operating various machines. He worked his way up to senior management positions, gaining experience on projects right across the Territory.
Willow was passionate about the company and it’s people and led NAC to be a leading civil construction company in Northern Australia. He prided himself on being able to provide a solution to any problem, all while developing genuine friendships along with the way.
Willow passed away in February 2022. He is survived by his wife, Danielle, and two young sons, Ted and Austin who remain a part of NAC today.
Willow’s hard work and determination is behind the successful company that continues to operate.
The Wilson legacy continues through NAC.
